Among atypical employement relantionships, Greek labour law only regulated fixed-term contracts for a long time. Regulations on part-time employement contracts were only issued in 1990 and for temporary work agency contracts in 2000. All the relevant European Directives have been implemented into Greek law.
Statutes, collective agreements and arbitration awards are legal sources that play an important role in relation to labour market flexibility. The parties to a collective agreement is more favourable to the employee, in so far as this possibility is provided for in a stature.
